Alaska and Chena Hot Springs

Strike one off the bucket list for Jim. He, Pete Oberg and I traveled the 7.5 hours on a plane and 12 hours total time for a chance to see the Aurora up near Fairbanks in the winter. It was a good trip with the hot springs, Ice House, pool, snow coach to the mountain top and the food.
It was a winter wonderland so the photos were fun as well. Cold, but the down jacket I got for Yellowstone was more than enough to handle the mild -5 to 20 something temps we came across. Next for me is hip surgery and then off to plan another adventure.....once I get all my photos processed, recover from the operation, and finish some house tasks that is.
